UDL-Con California at
Spring CUE 2026, Powered by CALIE

ST and CALIE are partnering to bring the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework to the center of innovation in California education. Together, we are excited to launch two new UDL experiences at Spring CUE 2026 —a new UDL-Con California program and a hands-on pre-conference UDL workshop.

  • Two dedicated UDL session rooms throughout the conference
  • Sessions led by CAST experts, district leaders, and classroom practitioners
  • Research-based strategies to remove barriers and design for learner variability
  • Practical tools that integrate UDL with instructional innovation and technology
  • A focus on building expert learners—purposeful, resourceful, and motivated

This collaboration brings CAST’s expertise in inclusive learning design into one of California’s largest gatherings of educators, system leaders, and edtech innovators.

One Event.
Two Communities.
Infinite Possibilities.

Big news for California educators: Spring CUE 2026 returns March 19th–21st at the Palm Springs Convention Center—and this year, we’re proud to feature the California STEAM Symposium as a co-hosted experience within the event!

This unprecedented collaboration unites two vibrant education communities for a single, powerful gathering focused on equity, technology, engagement, and leadership across all grade levels and learning environments. With a maker-centered, hands-on STEAM Zone and engaging learning sessions from emerging leaders in the field, this is the epicenter of all things STEAM.

We’ve heard from educators: attending multiple events is time-consuming and costly. That’s why CALIE and the CDE Foundation have teamed up to deliver a unified, high-impact event—crafted with educators, for educators.
